New judicial branch employees have access to annual and sick leave
Annual Leave (Non-Administrative Employees)
Regular, full-time employees (37.5 hours a week) will earn the below days/hours per month based on years of service. Regular, part-time employees will earn a pro-rated amount based on the hours they are scheduled to work.

Paid Administrative Leave
All full-time and part-time administrative/exempt employees, except temporary employees, are eligible to be granted paid administrative leave.

Part-time administrative/exempt employees receive pro-rated administrative leave based upon the regular budgeted hours divided by 37.5 hours and then multiplied by the number of days allowed per year.
Sick Leave (Non-Administrative Employees)
- Newly Hired/Rehired full-time employees (37.5 hours a week) shall be advanced the equivalent of 6 months of sick leave (56.25 hrs).
- Regular, part-time employees shall be advanced 6 months of pro-rated sick leave based on the hours they are scheduled to work.
- New employees may utilized the advanced sick leave beginning after the first day of employment.
- Employees are allowed a maximum of 120 days (900 hours) of sick leave to accrue in their sick leave bank.
Military Leave
- An Employee who is a member of the Armed Forces, Reserve, National Guard or other uniformed services shall be granted leave for training or service.
